Grand Opening Mister B Shop Paris November 2012

Thursday November 8th saw the opening of Mister B’s 3rd Flagship store in Paris. Friends, family and socialites of the Paris gay scene gathered together on the Rue du Temple in Le Marais to assist with the grand opening of the new shop.

At 18:30, Mister B himself, Wim Bos had the honour of starting off with a little speech before cutting through the tri-coloured red, white and blue bondage rope, in the colours of the French and Dutch flags, officially opening the new, stunning shop in the heart of Paris.

When you walk through the door there is no doubt that you are inside a Mister B shop. Fetish and style are combined in a unique way. The shop starts with a long narrow corridor with glass vitrines on the right hand side. These are filled with all kind of metal works, such as cockrings, speculums and other kinds of exciting fetish gear. The left hand side consists of a long mirrored wall which gives it a spacious feel. At the end of the corridor you will find a concrete and steel counter and bar where customers can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. To the right there is an opening to a large area where you will find Mister B’s leather collection, dildos, toys and slings. You can also take the stairs down to the cellar, a dungeon style area where the rubber collection is displayed.

It was a very social event where old friends gathered and new friendships were formed. Champagne was the social lube that night and everyone had a fantastic time. Later in the evening presents were offered by Wim Bos and the Amsterdam and Berlin shop managers. The highlight being the “Amsterdammertje”, an iconic street pole found throughout the streets of Amsterdam with the three St. Andrew’s crosses on it. After making the opening official, the party moved on to the Spyce bar nearby where guests danced the night away. Parisians can be proud of this latest addition to their fetish scene.
